Can I tee a basin waste in to the shower waste on the way to the WWHR unit

Advice on running basin waste through a WWHRS

We advise against doing this, Shower waste-water which has passed through the shower waste trap does not pose a risk of blocking Recoup's WWHRS products.

However, basin waste which may contain unknown/different debris to that from a shower waste, and which has not passed through a shower waste trap, could potentially pose a blockage risk and/or affect the efficiency of the WWHRS heat exchanger.
