# Can the Pipe HEX be used for Ground Floor showers?

## Pipe HEX suitability for ground floor applications

The Pipe HEX is designed to be installed vertically with the shower waste fed to it by gravity, this means it must be installed on a floor/storey below the shower to which it is connected. Consequently, it is not suited for use with ground-floor showers.
