      Can the Recoup Pipe HEX be installed horizontally?

      No, any vertical pipe-style WWHRS system, such as the Pipe HEX should be installed vertically. Installing horizontally would not allow the ‘falling film’ heat exchange that is required to maintain the tested efficiencies, and therefore energy savings. The Pipe HEX should always be installed with the Turbo rotator fitted at the top, the pipe itself is symmetrical so either end can be the top or bottom.
