Will the Easyfit+ fit under any bath?

In principle, yes! Most standard baths can accommodate the Easyfit+ underneath, so long as there is space between the legs

The Easyfit+ is designed to be able to fit under most standard baths (1500-1800mm long), regardless of the materials they are constructed from.

The key, of course, is that there must be sufficient space beneath the bathtub to accommodate the Easyfit+. The Easyfit measures 1166mm (l) x 372mm (w) x 64.5mm (h), and usually requires an extra 50-100mm at each end for pipe connections and around 30-40mm for waste fall.

Most baths available in the UK have a reasonable distance between the supporting legs. these may be supplied intgral to the bath product or commonly baths are supplied without legs attached. This is usually so that a universal leg set can be designed to complement a full range of bath sizes.

For example:

Universal Leg Sets

Roca, supply a universal leg set (A248427000) for their Contesa and Duo Plus bath ranges.

This universal leg set offers plenty of space for the Easyfit+ to fit within the prescribed fitting dimensions: The spacing between the feet on each support is c. 540mm, so plenty wide enough to accommodate the width of the Easyfit+ (@ c. 380mm)

Easyfit+ waste configuration

The Easyfit+ is designed with installation flexibility in mind.

The adjustable feet can allow the unit to be raised at one or both ends, to accommodate waste falls and ensure stability.

The incoming waste can be connected at either end of the unit, so long as the incoming CWM feed is connected to the opposite end (to ensure counter-flow heat exchange).

This ability to allow waste/CWM connections at either end, in turn, assists the installer, where bath drain waste connections or SVP waste connections are located either at either end; at the same end; or even centrally to the bath.

Baths with centre leg

Usually, any bath with a centre-position leg can be bridged, to allow sufficient room for the Easyfit+ to locate under the bath. This process is outlined in our installation video;
