# What are the benefits of WWHRS for homeowners / end-users?

## End user benefits

Energy savings. It is estimated that showering accounts for around 57% of the hot water that we generate. And in modern homes, hot water can represent as much of the energy budget as space heating (even more in Passivhaus and super-insulated properties).
