      What is the maximum length of pipework from the WWHRS to the hot water source? (Cylinder/Combi Boiler/Other)

      Maximum pipe run to heat source

      There is no maximum distance specified for the run of pipework which carries the pre-heated water from the WWHRS to the hot water source.

      This pipework should be insulated to minimise heat losses (and be identifiable as "pre-heated"). Appropriate diameter pipe should also be used to mitigate any pressure drop.

       

      Important; The pipework that runs from the WWHRS to the Shower TMV does have a restriction on the length permitted, see more info here.
